We live in Ilkley, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and have always loved wildlife and the natural world. Like so many people, we are acutely aware that it is under attack from climate change and species extinction. We want to do something to make a difference, however small.

Andrew's Story
I’ve had a lifelong passion for the natural world, with a particular fascination for birds. However, it’s a love of being outdoors, connecting with nature, which really matters.
We can all appreciate the beauty of birds, mammals, flora and fauna without needing to know their names. In many ways it’s incidental to the huge pleasure so many of us get from simply experiencing nature in its many forms. As climate change and species extinction are now mainstream issues, it’s never been more important to take an interest in nature and consider what we can do to help.
As photography is a wonderful way to capture the multifaceted beauty of the natural world, my aim is to take memorable wildlife images, suitable for wall art. It’s often said art is all about engaging with the viewer on an emotional level. I’m sure wildlife images can do the same, bringing us closer to nature and encouraging us all to support it as much as we can.
Julia's Story
Growing up on a farm in mid Wales, I was surrounded by nature. In the days before social media and the online world, the birds and animals of the surrounding countryside were a constant part of my life and the enjoyment has never left me.
Andrew and I have often discussed conservation and how we could make a difference, for instance by supporting a wildlife charity. Andrew’s passion for wildlife photography presented a perfect opportunity. Encouraged by the number of requests for prints of his images, and after winning a local photography competition, we decided to set up this business, and support Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
I will be doing everything I can to make people aware of what we’re doing and, hopefully, achieve enough sales to make a worthwhile financial contribution to such an important charity.
